Corporal Reyes is the second non commissioned officer of the cuartel. If the ranks of Spanish soldiers are proportional to their intelligence, taking Corporal Reyes as an example, one can only wonder what is the degree of intelligence of the privates. However, Reyes is goodwilling, he always execute orders to the LETTER.
Even Sergeant Garcia is often exasperated by such stupidity. When he does not use the Corporal's naivety to his own purpose, Garcia aims at teaching him the little common sense he posseses. They're two of a kind!
